The most common request we receive after completing a TV wall mount installation is for soundbar installation at the same time. A wall-mounted TV without a soundbar looks clean, but a wall-mounted TV with a soundbar sitting on the floor or floating on a stand creates the visual clutter that the wall mount was meant to eliminate. The complete solution is a wall-mounted TV with a wall-mounted soundbar directly below it, all cables invisible.

Every major soundbar manufacturer provides a wall-mounting solution -- either a dedicated wall bracket included with the soundbar or an accessory bracket sold separately. We stock common soundbar brackets and can also work with brackets you already have. The soundbar is positioned a specific distance below the TV based on the TV size and soundbar dimensions, ensuring the soundbar does not block the IR sensor on the TV (which receives remote signals) and that the overall visual proportion looks balanced.

Audio connectivity is the other critical element. Most modern soundbars connect via HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or the newer eARC standard, which allows the TV to pass audio to the soundbar over a single HDMI cable. We route this HDMI cable in-wall alongside the TV power cable for a completely clean installation. For soundbars that use optical audio, we route the optical cable similarly. Wireless subwoofers connect automatically to the soundbar -- we position the subwoofer optimally and verify it's synced.

We also handle the audio settings configuration on the TV side -- enabling HDMI ARC or eARC in the TV's audio settings, setting the audio output to the external soundbar, and disabling the TV's internal speakers. This step is often missed by DIY installers, resulting in audio coming from the TV speakers instead of the soundbar. We verify everything is working correctly before we leave.
